PIES℠, or the Peoples’ Institute for the Enlightenment of Society, Inc. is a new financial technology company. We are a c-corporation registered in Michigan. Our office is located in Ann Arbor, a mission-driven city that embodies the spirit of America and many of the values that we have at PIES℠.
Meet the Team
Charlie Kritzmacher
Founder, Chief Executive Officer
PIES℠ was founded in 2023 by Charlie Kritzmacher, whose engineering experience in the automotive world inspired a unique approach to designing financial systems. Charlie’s recognitions as an inventor include a 2018 Boss Kettering Award, “General Motor’s top technical award for truly outstanding inventions and innovations”. Charlie is the architect of the PIES Economy and the PIES Exchange.
Brett Giles
Chief User-Experience Officer
Brett’s expertise spans the world of content creation and user experience design. As a seasoned educator and engineer, Brett is uniquely equipped to make the PIES Economy℠ as intuitive and accessible as possible.
